With their distinctive pile architecture form and grand scale, canneries are still very much a part of the landscape on BC's north Coast. This particular one is part of
the Canadian Fish and Cold Storage plant, built in 1912 at Seal Cove in Prince Rupert.
This piece was inspired my time at the Cassiar Cannery art residence, jointly operated with the Prince Rupert Community Arts Council.
