Commissions

I enjoy painting commissions across a range of subjects. There is something refreshing about the challenge of a new and unusual subject, whether wilderness & rural landscapes, portraits of a beloved pets, or the evocation a special time.

The process can be a little intimidating and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Just e-mail me, or check out answers to some frequently-asked questions below:

I am happy to work from your image, or provide one for you.
I work across a wide range of sizes (9”x 12” to 48”x 72”).
Commissions are priced by size, with prices comparable to regular work
I typically require a 25% non-refundable deposit before starting the painting.
Please allow 4-6 weeks from start to finish.
Yes; I will send you an image of the completed painting before final varnishing, and you are welcome to view it at my studio. You are welcome to specify any changes at that point.
If you are not satisfied, no additional payment beyond the deposit is required.
I am happy to deliver and install the completed painting.
Finished work has finished edges and wired for easy installation. It does not require framing, but you are certainly welcome to do so yourself.
