A collection of signage from the golden age of Mid-Century design, and modern signs inspired it. Didn’t grow up with these, so to me, they evoke a feeling of mid-Century North American glamour

My studio is in a heritage industrial building located next to a Port of Vancouver railyard, so they have a real presence in my daily routine.
On the water
I grew up near the Scottish coast & now live by the Port of Vancouver half way round the world.
This collection celebrates the different roles working ship play in the illustrating a sense of place to such regions
