I have long been struck by this view behind the Orwell Hotel, operated by the Vancouver Native Housing Society in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Turns out the three righthand buildings are slated for demolition ahead of a social housing project. A good cause for sure, but I rather liked the charm of these ones, so am glad to have caught the view before it goes.
